King Old Fart is not that young really. In terms of gear — same thing: he uses Roland TR-505 drum machine, a trademark for many late 80’s dancehall cuts, dusty (hear it yourself) vinyl records and Soviet machines like Faemi Mini synth and LM1229 reverb/ echo unit.

At the same time his production is far from classic styles. The riddims are spaced out and stripped down but sonically rich. A hazy and dreamy place somewhere between future dancehall, electro dub and ambient. We call all this mess ‘drummachine ‘n bassbicycle’. We have to warn ya, the machine and the bicycle ride VERY slow! Good for the empty night roads though.
